Specifications
Our underbench unit carcasses are constructed from grey, beige or white melamine faced MDF, 18mm thick, with 2mm PVC edge lippings. All doors are fitted with 180˚ opening hinges. A black semi-flushed handle is provided to all door and drawer fronts. Double units are 1000mm wide, single units are 500mm wide, all units are 520mm deep. The recessed plinth front is finished with black plastic laminate. All drawers have epoxy coated metal sides and drawer runners with 15mm thick melamine faced medium density fibreboard (MDF) bottoms and backs. Mobile units are fitted with castors, 2 No. to swivel, 2 No. to lock. Metalwork is 38mm square tube epoxy powder coated mild steel, colour to client’s choice. All service outlets are laboratory pattern, compliant with BS5412, and electrical sockets are manufactured to BS1363. Sinks are either fireclay, stainless steel grade 316, or moulded epoxy resin type.
